Insurance Apprenticeships Get The Nod At The Digital Media Awards

The Insurance Institute took home the bronze award in the Best Website category at this year’s Accenture Digital Media Awards for their Careers in Insurance website –

The website is designed to educate career starters, career changers, parents and guidance professionals on the vast range of opportunities available in the insurance industry. In particular, the website provides visitors with information on the Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship, which will open soon for applications.

We’re delighted to have won such a prestigious award so soon after the site’s launch,” commented Anne Roberts, Marketing and Communications Manager at The Insurance Institute. “Careers in insurance just don’t get the attention they deserve and the Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship is a huge step forward for our industry. We wanted to encourage digital audiences to re-think this vibrant and dynamic sector.

“The main part of the brief was aimed at addressing why insurance as a career choice simply wasn’t on the table” says Jennifer Grainger, Digital Experience Specialist at The Insurance Institute. “To do this successfully, we knew we needed to create a website that offered a seamless user experience and engaging content, so this award is a nod that we have done just that”.
