MyIBA Soccer Tournament Aviva Stadium – Match Analysis

Congratulations to all of our broker teams who took part in MyIBA Soccer Tournament in Aviva Stadium to raise valuable funds for the charity My Canine Companion on Thursday 15^th September 2016.  The sun was shining brightly on Aviva Stadium when 140 enthusiastic brokers and over 70 supporters descended on the stadium for an afternoon of friendly games and joviality.  This included players, managers, supporters, ball boys and girls and team mascots! It proved to be a memorable and fun event for all concerned and a fantastic atmosphere prevailed for the duration of the event.

My Canine Companion, is a national charity that trains dogs to assist children and young adults with Autism. The cost to train and provide one family with a service dog is just over €10,000. This year, MyIBA hope to raise enough money to provide at least 2 families in Ireland with a service dog for their child.  Special thanks goes to Niall Ruddy from MyCanine Companion who attended Aviva Stadium on the 15^th along with some of his supporters on the day.

Well done to the overall tournament winners at LOCKTONS who narrowly defeated the QUOTE DEVIL team in hotly contested final, no shins left uncovered!  Special thanks goes to the other six broker teams for taking part in the event and in doing so, making significant contribution to the MyIBA fundraising target.

A huge thank your goes to the marketing team at Aviva for opening its doors to MyIBA and our broker participants.  It was wonderful opportunity for members to kit out and play in our national soccer stadium and soak up some of the electric atmosphere that goes with running onto the pitch and playing on the hallowed turf of Lansdowne Road. Particular thanks and gratitude goes to Maeve Bambrick, Amy Lynch and Robert Kennedy of Aviva for making this special event happen. Their generous support, enthusiasm and assistance has been greatly appreciated.
